Itaewon and “Homo Hill”

Seoul’s most visible international-facing gay nightlife cluster. The nickname is informal, and the current scene now spills beyond the original alley.

Haebangchon

A mixed hillside neighborhood just beyond Itaewon with the broadly queer Rabbit Hole and other independent bars. It is not an exclusively LGBTQ+ district.

Jongno 3-ga

Seoul’s older gay social area, with many small bars, karaoke rooms, and late-night food around Jongno 3-ga. It feels more local and less visibly signed than Itaewon.

Hongdae and Sangsu

A general youth and music district with a real public women-focused venue layer around Hongdae and Sangsu. LesVos, Ambition, Bar Mong, and horn seoul are verified here; smaller address-by-DM spaces remain private.
