Rainbow District

West Hollywood’s Rainbow District is the walkable first evening in this census. The City of West Hollywood names the district at Santa Monica and San Vicente, where the pride crosswalks sit. Santa Monica Boulevard is the street cluster inside it. Robertson holds The Abbey and One Gallery. STORIES: The AIDS Monument is in West Hollywood Park on San Vicente. This is one district, not four cities.

Getting oriented

Think of this as an area to know, not a border.

Queer life spills across Los Angeles. This page simply groups places that are easy to combine in one outing.

Getting there
Metro B Line to Hollywood/Highland, then a short bus or rideshare west into WeHo, or Metro bus lines on Santa Monica Boulevard. The PickUp circulator serves the boulevard on event nights. After last trains, night buses and rideshares are the realistic way home.
Accessibility
Street, building, lift, toilet, seating, and sensory access vary by venue. Check the exact venue when access is important.
