Chueca

Chueca is the walkable first evening in this census. Turismo Madrid says the neighbourhood filled its plazas and streets when the LGTBIQA+ community made it a nightlife district, and that it is open to anyone looking for a respectful night out. Start at Plaza de Chueca. Plaza de Pedro Zerolo is the other public square. Calle Pelayo, Calle Gravina, and Calle de las Infantas are listed as their own street areas to know — dense multi-venue strips inside the barrio.

drag · bars

Calle Pelayo

Calle Pelayo is the first street crawl after the plaza. LL Bar is at number 11. Bears Bar is at number 4. Delirio / DLRO Live is at number 59, toward Alonso Martínez. Treat it as one outing from Plaza de Chueca, not a second city.

women-focused · dancing

Calle Gravina

Calle Gravina holds two public doors in this census: Truco at number 10, on the corner with Plaza de Chueca, and Fluide Escape at number 13. OpenStreetMap still names number 13 as a physiotherapy school. That name is stale and is not a second public listing.

bear scene · bars

Calle de las Infantas

Turismo Madrid names two bear-scene rooms on Calle de las Infantas: Zarpa Bear at number 26 and Hot at number 9. OpenStreetMap still names those buildings Lock & Be Free and Breeze. Those names are stale and are not extra public listings.
